How long have you been in business?

VADAR® Systems has been in business since 1996 with more than 250+ municipal clients and over 2,000 users, and over $5+ billion in assets managed ANNUALLY with our solutions.

VADAR® Systems is located in Acton, Massachusetts, but we work with clients in multiple states and municipalities.

We focus on both large and small municipalities, with annual budgets ranging between $1 million – $300 million. We have clients that range from one, single user, to larger clients with 200+ concurrent users.

We provide a full array of Financial Management software and IT Solutions to more than 250+ cities, towns, school systems and municipal districts (Water/Sewer/Fire Districts).

We offer Fully Integrated Financial Suites including: Fund Accounting, School Accounting, Tax Collection, Utility Billing (Water/ Sewer/ Stormwater/ Trash) and Payroll & HR. These can be bundled in fully integrated suites or individual applications.

Yes, VADAR Cloud™ is a robust and powerful commercial-grade Cloud computing platform. VADAR Cloud™ offers 24/7/365 secure, remote Internet access to client data and apps from any device with an Internet connection from anywhere in the world – desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Our Cloud includes all Server Licensing, all OS updates, daily data backups, disaster recovery, anti-Virus software and 24/7 remote server monitoring.

Although installation times may vary depending upon size and scope, on average it takes 3 – 6 months for a complete install.

We pride ourselves on how user friendly and flexible our software is. Just ask any of our customers!

Each new client receives blocks of on-site or virtual training during installation. On average, each suite provides for 3-5 days of training spread out over time. So, training days can vary from 5 days up to 15 days depending upon the suites purchased. Follow up and free webinar training can also be scheduled by an individual client at any time. Free, seasonal group webinars are also offered to all clients. All webinars are recorded for future reference and playback.

Yes, we have quick reference user guides that walk you through specific processes within the applications.

In order to maintain IGR and state statute compliancy, our suites undergo revisions at least 1-2 times per year, with little to no client downtime.

New versions of our software are always provided at no additional cost.

Yes, we are compatible with many of the major bill printing, assessing, e-billing, online payment, Deputy Collectors and Payroll providers in the market place.

Here at VADAR® Systems we are known for our First-Class Customer Support. We have a full-time dedicated support team which includes former Municipal Officials. Each suite has its own dedicated team and each client has their own dedicated support team member(s). The same team member(s) that performs your installation and trains you also supports you and your employees. Support team members can be reached directly by phone or email at any time.

Our support team is in house and located at our Acton, MA office. When you call us, you speak to a local, live support team member. There is no national call center and there are no service tickets and virtually no wait time. Our typical response time ranges from immediate to call backs within one hour. Most routine support items are resolved immediately over the phone.

Typically, our hours of support are Monday- Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM EST. However after hours support is available on a case by case basis.

Yes. We offer annual User Groups and regularly scheduled Client Webinars thoughtout the year – all at no extra charge.
